Our Story

At The Garage Bar, we specialize in creating a safe, personable and welcoming atmosphere for the East End Ventura community. We offer a variety of entertainment options, including four dart boards, a pool table and live music every Friday through Saturday. We also host weekly local Ventura talent, karaoke and themed events such as Soul Sunday, Taco Tuesday and Trivia, Tiki Thursdays. Our bar offers up a wide selection of craft beers, wines, and hard seltzers to choose from, as well as a variety of spirits. But it's our signature cocktails that make us stand out from the rest. Our signature cocktails are made with locally sourced ingredients, and each one is uniquely crafted to offer a special experience. We're proud to be nominated for Best Old Fashioned in Ventura County, and each month we introduce new cocktails to our menu. Stop by, have a drink, and get to know your neighbors. Growing up, I played in many local bands, and tried my hand in different professions. The one thing I kept coming back to was cooking. So, I finished my academics at Le Cordon Bleu and worked for many awesome Chefs in Los Angeles, Hawaii, and Santa Barbara. I traveled a lot in the process, finally coming back home to Ventura County. I first worked at Rumline, Jimmy's Slice next, then this amazing opportunity came up to fix up and manage The Garage Bar. I gathered all my loved ones around me for support and ideas; without them this would not be possible. For me, it's all about our community, and bringing people together, which runs through everything we do at The Garage Bar. Come by to enjoy a cocktail and a conversation with us.
